Hope Home E-mail

Hope Home is a foster-care home for special needs children who are referred from the local government orphanage in Chiang Mai. The home was established in October 2007 and is able to accommodate seven residential children, as well as offer daily therapy/ respite care to other disabled children in the area as needed.

The purpose of Hope Home is to provide a loving, caring and therapeutic environment for orphaned or abandoned children who have special physical needs. Hope Home is administrated by a Thai Manager, Wilaiwan Numchaitospon, who has experience in community care and the Director, Judy Cook, who is a missionary nurse from the UK.

Our project aims include emphasis on physical activities that encourage the development of strength, intellectual engagement, and sensory related projects that facilitate change in the individual as well as

process-oriented projects instead of product-oriented.
